1.COMPANY
- A One Bakkie Spares ONLINE and A One Bakkie Spares Trademarks are intellectual property of A One Bakkie Spares (“the Company”) and may not be used in any form or context without written consent or permission.
- The Company is the sole owner of the website and will not sell or distribute any information provided via the website to any parties outside of the Company.
- You have read the Company’s POPI policy on its website.
- You consent to the Company processing the personal information provided, for the conclusion of this agreement and for any other legitimate business purpose related to this agreement, including for the purpose of executing any rights and obligations that the Company may have in relation to you or any matter in respect of which you and/or the Personal Information applies.
- You consent to the Company retaining the Personal Information in any form, for as long as the Company in its sole discretion deems desirable for the Purpose.

2. Goods
- All images, drawings, particulars, shapes, descriptions and illustrations, application guides and information including technical information, colours of images and other advertising matters are intended only to present a general idea of the Goods described in them unless stated otherwise. Note that colours may differ from these on images, if you do want to make sure of a product furthermore, please contact us on online@aonebakkiespares.co.za before making a purchase.
- In the catalogue, if the image does not correspond with the description and price, the price and description will take precedence over the image.
- We reserve the right to deliver Goods of an alternative design provided that any difference does not make the Goods unsuitable for any purpose you have made known to us. We will however notify a consumer firstly and in the event a consumer does not accept an alternative product we will refund has payment been made already.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that the item to be bought is correct by comparing it to the old item being removed from the vehicle before trying to fit the new item.
- The Company has a large catalogue and errors may occur. The Company has the right to correct any mistakes at any time and will bear no liability of any sort that may have arisen from these errors.
3. Prices and Payments
- The prices of the Goods will be as quoted except in cases of obvious error (see clause 8 in this section).
- Prices may be altered at any time without notification to take into account any increase in our costs (including but not limited to the cost of materials, labour, transport, or other overheads, any tax, duty or variation in exchange rates).
- We list prices as inclusive of vat.
- In case of very large orders, you accept that the charge of delivery may not be calculated correctly and may lead to an additional surcharge for delivery or a credit arising from over charge, details of which will be provided to you at the time of order acknowledgment.
- All financial transactions are 100% safe and handled by PayFast. who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. Payfast uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.payfast.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
- Customer details will be stored by A1 Bakkie Spares separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayFast’s secure site.
- Errors and Omissions Excepted. We have a large catalogue and errors may occur. Please note we have the right to correct our mistake. We do not accept any financial loss regarding these errors.
- We work from a computerised system that may from time to time, due to unforeseen conditions or circumstances make errors, despite our best efforts, some prices or information may be incorrectly listed at times. We are under no obligation to provide Goods to you at an incorrect, lower price, even after we have acknowledged your order, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as an incorrect pricing.
- Zero priced items:
- In the event of a Zero priced item is successfully added to your cart and checked out, A1 Bakkie Spares is not required to honour these purchases. We also state a reasonable person would not expect the item to be free and would therefore opt for a corrective option.
- In the event that a successful zero item has been purchased, but a customer had affected payment for the delivery charge, A1 Bakkie Spares would therefore refund such delivery charges in the event that the customer does not want to pay for the zero priced items.
- We have the right to update the price and have the customer re-purchase these products. Alternatively, the customer can make an EFT in our Bank Account, and we would therefore proceed with the sale.

4. Shipping and Delivery
- It is solely your responsibility to ensure that the correct shipping address details are captured. No liability will be accepted by the Company for an incorrect delivery address.
- You agree that you are buying the goods as a consumer within the Borders of Southern Africa for delivery within the borders of South Africa.
- We ship to all neighbouring countries. Namibia | Botswana | Swaziland | Zimbabwe | Zambia | Mozambique | Malawi | Kenya and rest of Africa except civil unrest areas.
- The above and following shipping terms do not apply to International Buyers. Please request a shipping quotation first. International Buyers must please CHECKOUT using the “In-Store Collection”. PayPal is available for all International Buyers. You can also arrange your own collection from our store.
- Insurance is not included. This should be arranged at a consumers own cost.
- The Company takes great care when packaging and shipping your goods. Once the goods leave our premises and are in the safe custody of our shipping companies; mistakes may happen during transit. Please ensure that when you receive your goods, you inspect it to ensure it is not damaged in any way. Also, confirm you have received the correct quantity before signing the shipping company documents. Please report any damages on the waybill to avoid delays in processing any possible claims.
- Time of delivery cannot be guaranteed, and any delivery date is an estimate only. We use all reasonable endeavours to avoid late deliveries. You will have the right to cancel any order without liability to us if delivery is more than 30 days late.
- The quantity of any consignment as recorded by us upon dispatch from our place of business will be conclusive evidence of the quantity received by you on delivery unless you can provide conclusive evidence proving the contrary.
- In certain rare instances Overnight Deliveries are delayed due to unforeseen circumstances on the side of the shipping company. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for that.
- On “Collection” purchases you may also send your own courier. This can speed up your delivery. Please notify us as soon as your order has been approved. Please note that no compensation will be afforded to you for this arrangement.

5. Warranty
- Goods are supplied with the benefit of a warranty only if you comply with the conditions set out in clause 5.6 as well as any provided with the Warranty (“Warranty Conditions”).
- If Goods become faulty during the period of the Warranty for reasons unconnected with your acts, omissions, or misuse of the Goods, you must notify us in writing (including a description of the fault) and return such Goods to us. We will repair (or at our sole option) replace such Goods with the same or superior Goods, without charge, and shall have no further liability to you. If Goods become faulty after expiry of the Warranty, and you request that we replace or repair such Goods, then we shall charge our then standard list price for such repair or replacement.
- The Company will have no liability regarding any claim in respect of which you have not complied with the claim’s procedures in the Warranty Conditions.
- We will be afforded reasonable opportunity to investigate any claims made under the Warranty and you will promptly return any Goods the subject of any claim and any packing materials securely packed, and carriage paid to us for examination.
- The above warranty is given by us subject to the Company having no liability in respect of any defect arising from wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow our and/or the goods’ manufacturers’ instructions (whether oral or in writing), misuse or alteration or repair of the Goods without our approval.
- Only items fitted by an RMI affiliated workshop or entity will be eligible for claim if all of the following documentary evidence exists: a computerised invoice from the legal entity clearly stating the Vehicle Details, Mileage fitted, and the scope of work carried out. Repair Technicians must have a qualification and training for the fitment of this specific product and use the correct equipment as specified by the Vehicle Manufacturer. This includes, but not limited to; torque settings, gaskets, specified lubricants, quality consumables, computer-aided settings, calibration settings, specified equipment and tools, etc.
- Products in the norm have a 3 Month Warranty. If there is a specific label on the product regarding warranty duration; that label will supersede this warranty.
- Warranties on automotive electrical products are forfeited immediately if a product is not installed by a RMI affiliated workshop or entity. (A computerised invoice from the legal entity clearly stating the Vehicle Details, Mileage fitted, and the scope of work carried out. A Detailed Diagnostics must be supplied acknowledging that a specific part is faulty prior to purchase of the new part and not just generic fault codes indicating a cluster of parts may be faulty. Fault codes from palm-held diagnostic machines are not accepted. Please make sure you understand this prior to purchase.) These products have been tested and passed quality assurances prior to leaving the factory. Electrical Products are extremely sensitive. Some vehicles may have existing Electronic or Electrical Degradation within the Electrical Framework of the vehicle which may cause irreparable damage to the new part, upon fitment.
6. Return and Refund Policy
- Unwanted Goods must be requested to be returned within 7 Days from purchase. The Company has the right to refuse the return after 7 Days and will be subjected to a handling and cartage fee.
- Goods will only be accepted for return if they are unused and in the original packaging, in a resealable condition, accompanied with the original Invoice.
- Refunds will only be processed once goods have been received and inspected by the Company.
- Parts returned after 30 days will not be accepted for return.
- Refunds will only be done in the form of an EFT.
- Parts that have been defaced (installed, disassembled, tampered with, oil stained, primed, or otherwise modified) and are therefore not in their original state as sold, including any damage to the packaging or lack of original packaging will NOT be accepted for return.
- Special orders will not be accepted for a return as these parts are specifically ordered according to the customer’s specific requirements.
- There will be no return on electrical parts other than a warranty claim that is accompanied by the required diagnostic report indicating the part is faulty and which report is supplied by an entity with acceptable credentials and approved to conduct testing on the goods being returned.
- No claim will be processed if the required claim form is not completed in full. VIN/Chassis and Engine numbers are required to confirm correct application. Any electrical or ECU-related parts must be accompanied by a diagnostic report stipulating the fault code as stated in section 5 - point 8.
- A claim not approved will be accompanied by a technical report outlining the findings. If the outcome of a report indicate that it was a manufacturing defect, a credit will be issued, or the defective part will be replaced.
- The alleged failed part(s) will not be replaced immediately. A credit or a replacement will be granted after the outcome of a technical inspection has been received and final approval by the relevant personnel.
